Centerville City warns of extremely high fire danger | Public Spaces

The Fire Danger this year is extremely high due to an abundance of fuel from last year's wet growing season and this year's dry conditions. This combination creates a very high danger for fires in the foothills.

We already had one fire in Ford Canyon caused by target shooting and we don't want to have any more, so please be careful and use common sense. If you want to shoot targets, use one of the nearby shooting ranges, and please obey the ban on any open flames or fireworks along the east side of the city.
